Macdonald, John Bernard Gilpin, George Patterson, and Louis Dow Scisco. Also included is biographical material on people associated with Sable Island, including Dorothea L. Dix, Thomas Hancock, Andrew Le Mercier, and Marc Lescarbot. Among the shipwrecks discussed in various parts of the collection is the 1846 wreck of the schooner Arno. The copies were made by Edwin R.
